Sound consists of “material” wave vibrations of air. It’s existence is perceived by our auditory system, similarly to like any other sensorial perception, even though it is not visible and not touchable. It perceived by the auditory system. Light on the other hand is visible, but NOT material, though it is an acceptable indication that what you see is factual. Light origins are “non-material”, namely electro-magnetic waves. As counter-intuitive as it is.
