Reading Philip K. Dick
as if he is a science fiction writer brings limitations. To me his novels read like subtle allegories dealing with
moral choice, confrontations with (or resolutions of) ambiguity, the vague yet sharp limits imposed
upon us by politics and nature.

Meaning that non-Philip-Dick science fiction does NOT deal with such subjects? why not?
